EXPERIENCE

CTI is the world's leader in Single Well Chemical Tracer (SWCT) technology and experience. CTI experts have performed over 400 SWCT tests since 1979, in most oil producing provinces of the world.

Over the past 30 years, we have developed and refined the field application of the SWCT for measuring residual oil saturation, connate water saturation, fractional flow, and other reservoir paramaters under actual and representative reservoir conditions at a small fraction of the time and cost required for multi-well tests.

From enhanced oil recovery assessment to reservoir characterization, CTI has extensive experience in field deployment, testing, and analysis. If you need a one spot reservoir characterization solution, CTI has the expertise you seek.

reservoir characterization experience
A broad and extensive history

We have conducted SWCT tests over a tremendous range of reservoir conditions under all types of operating conditions. Reservoir parameter ranges include: Interval Height (8 - 104 ft), Porosity (7 - 34%), Reservoir Temperature (80 - 249 Deg. F), Brine Salinity (1,200 - 270,000 ppm TDS), Permeability (4.5 - 6,000 md), Oil Gravity (12 - 49 API) and Sor (7 - 45%). We look forward to extending these ranges in the future.

Looking to the future

Renewed interest in Enhanced Oil Recovery has lead to vigorous demand for our One Spot Pilot test series to provide in situ evaluation of prospective EOR techniques. As a result, we have been continuously active over the past several years in assessing EOR programs including: Alkaline-Surfactant-Polymer, Lignin-Surfactant-Polymer, Surfactant-Polymer, Lo-Sal Water Flooding, Miscible Hydrocarbon / WAG, and Carbon Dioxide
